I have breast cancer, I was diagnosed March 2003 with Stage 4 Her2+++ Breast cancer. Had my first chemo on March 28th, and stopped those meds the end of July that year. I think my longest remission was 18 months. I have been on some kind of chemo on & off since then, I have had one surgery throughout all of this, and that was a tad over a year ago, when I had a large mass removed which used to be lymph nodes under my right arm, To say the least, I had to spend 5 days in the hospital after that day surgery. Within 2 1/2 months, I had a new 5-6 cm mass in the same area, along with the whole front of my chest lighting up like a Christmas tree. I was on different chemos starting last Aug. Seems like nothing was really doing the trick this time. In April. mydoc sent me to Sarah Cannon in Nashville. I have been on a trial every since.
Every 3 weeks I go to Sarah Cannon for tests, as well as a treatment. I am usually there all day, while the treatment lasts 3 hours. So, a L-O-N-G day! My husband, Mike, usually goes with me, which makes life a bit easier.
A few years ago, while I was looking through some sites, I found out that you could embroider on TP! Now, I could never have figured that one out on my own, but I did find out, and todays picture is of just that, a monogrammed tp! I have a friend in LA, and I sent her some tp with a leaf of poison ivy embroidered on it...kind of an inside joke, I had told her all we had for tp in the backwoods of Tennessee was poison ivy. I have a listing in my ebay store with 3 different designs. Take a peek!
